ABOUT BARNIE

BARNIE is a young French fashion brand that has, for several years, been shaping a distinctive identity, developing its world and writing its story.

Our ambition: to create a desirable, contemporary and sustainable brand, with a strong and recognisable visual identity, while building a wardrobe designed to accompany women in their everyday lives.

Joining BARNIE today means joining a fast-growing brand, driven
by strong ambition and a project that is still being written. It also means joining a collective project where everyone can truly contribute to growing the brand and leaving their mark.

LEARN MORE

THE ROLE

We are looking for our future Brand & Graphic Designer to join our Communications & Image team.

You will work directly with the Head of Image & Communications, within a team of four people.

Your role will first and foremost be that of an excellent graphic designer, with a strong visual culture and a particular sensitivity to fashion and lifestyle worlds.

You will work from the creative direction and artistic vision defined upstream, translating them into strong, coherent and desirable graphic creations.

Your eye, command of graphic principles and attention to detail will be essential in evolving BARNIE’s identity and continuing to refine its visual signature.

THE 3 MAIN PILLARS OF THE ROLE

01 - BRAND & GRAPHIC DESIGN

This is at the heart of the role.

- Translate each season’s creative direction into graphic proposals.

- Create layouts, compositions and graphic adaptations consistent with BARNIE’s identity.

- Develop graphic assets used across all brand touchpoints: social media, CRM, print, digital, e-commerce

- Design and adapt graphic content for social media: posts, stories, carousels, etc.

- Design and format newsletters: lookbooks, launches, follow-ups, editorial content…

- Design graphic and written content for advertising campaigns based on approved seasonal copy.

- Design and adapt print materials: packaging, communication tools and other brand assets.

- Occasionally contribute to the graphic design of special projects: collaborations, pop-up stores, events, landing pages…

- Design and lay out the monthly lookbook.

- Design, alongside the Community Manager, the press kit for each season.

02 - PRODUCTION & ADAPTATION

You will also be responsible for graphic quality and the smooth management of certain productions.

Packshots & post-production:

- Coordinate service providers responsible for packshots.
- Prepare creative briefs and oversee production.
- Check the quality of deliverables.
- Occasionally carry out simple retouching: colour matching, product clean-up where necessary.

Digital adaptations:

_ Adapt creations to different formats and uses.
- Ensure graphic consistency across all materials.
- Contribute to integrating certain materials into our digital tools.

Proficiency in Shopify and Klaviyo is not essential: these tools can be learned with in-house support.

03 - SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT

Alongside your graphic design work, you will contribute to the production of in-house video content.

Working alongside the Community Manager:
- Edit short-form content for social media: Reels, BTS, editorial content, spontaneous content…
- Produce the necessary edits, subtitles and graphic overlays.
- Adapt videos to the different platform formats.
- Contribute to finding graphic and editorial solutions to make content more impactful.

No need to be an experienced video editor: above all, we are looking for a graphic design profile comfortable editing short-form content for social media.
The software used may be Premiere Pro, CapCut or any other editing tool you are proficient in.

A STRUCTURING PROJECT: BUILDING BARNIE’S VISUAL SIGNATURE

BARNIE is a brand undergoing significant evolution, and its graphic identity is still taking shape.

One of the key challenges of the role will therefore be to contribute to the structuring and harmonisation of our visual language.

Working closely with the Head of Image & Communications, you will contribute to:

- Identifying and formalising BARNIE’s different graphic codes.
- Harmonising principles of composition, typography, layout and image treatment.
- Gradually building a clear and comprehensive graphic standards guide.
- Defining graphic principles and systems to ensure consistency from one season to the next.
- Creating tools and processes to streamline day-to-day graphic production.

The aim is not to start from a blank page, but to build and evolve an identity already in motion.

THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced profile with at least 4 years’ experience in graphic design, brand design or a similar role.

Experience in fashion, beauty, cosmetics, fragrance, interiors or, more broadly, the lifestyle world would be a real advantage.

But beyond experience, we are above all looking for an eye.

You are a graphic designer who:

- has a very strong visual culture;
- has a particularly sensitive eye for the worlds of fashion and lifestyle;
- has an excellent command of composition and layout principles;
- has an excellent command of typography;
- knows how to create elegant, contemporary and impactful layouts;
- pays real attention to detail and finishing;
- knows how to work with imagery, typography and different graphic elements with precision;
- knows how to adapt an art direction while bringing their own sensitivity;
- is able to propose several directions and defend their creative choices;
- is autonomous in managing projects, from concept to delivery.

THE TOOLS

You have an excellent command of the Adobe Suite, including:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- InDesign

You are also proficient in Figma.

Experience in video editing for social media is expected, but proficiency in a specific software programme is not required.

Knowledge of Shopify and Klaviyo is a major plus, but not a prerequisite.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHO ARE YOU?

We are a small team, deeply involved in BARNIE’s development.

BARNIE is a fast-growing brand, driven by strong ambition and a project that is still being written. Processes are evolving, tools are being developed and new projects regularly come to life.

This requires adaptability, autonomy and, above all, the desire to actively contribute to this momentum.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, who enjoys exploring, testing, improving and evolving things.

Someone creative, with genuine graphic convictions, but also able to listen, exchange ideas and build with others.

Kindness, respect and team spirit are essential to us.

We are a team of passionate, committed and complementary people who put their talent at the service of a shared project.

Joining BARNIE today means having the opportunity to play a concrete part in building a brand and to see your work directly contribute to its evolution.
